BROADCAST is our way of immediately responding, through theatre, to the feelings and thoughts of the public - our audience. On a given day we run an open workshop to delve into what is boiling people's blood and peaking people's interest at that exact moment in time. Our attendees are a rich and varied bunch, changing every time we do it.
We record the workshop and then gift it to three talented writers like a Trojan Horse with a sparkling tag reading ‘Make A 10- Minute Radio Play in 2 weeks inspired by these voices. Dare You! Kisses x ’.
When the time is up and the scripts are in we rehearse for a day and, in the evening, stream the results.
Performed live, in front of a live audience at a secret, ever changing location, backed with music and the rabid-rampant-ramblings of our DJ, BROADCAST puts the drama back in pirate radio.
If you want to hear the results so far have a listen just under here. If you want to come to a workshop, be part of the piratical audience, write for us or just have question then sign up to the mailing list.
Thanks to all who have sailed in us so far and all who will embark in the future!
